Wanting the Peace of God

We’d like to share our Sunday Service, Wanting the Peace of God, with you.

Anna read this Opening Prayer: anna

Peace be to me, the holy Son of God.
Peace to my brother, who is one with me.
Let all the world be blessed with peace through us.
Father, it is Your peace that I would give, receiving it of You.
I am Your Son, forever just as You created me,
for the Great Rays remain forever still and undisturbed within me.
I would reach to them in silence and in certainty,
for nowhere else can certainty be found.
Peace be to me, and peace to all the world.
In holiness were we created, and in holiness do we remain.
Your Son is like to You in perfect sinlessness.
And with this thought we gladly say “Amen.” W-360.

Andy read: La Comida 023

I want the peace of God.
The peace of God is everything I want.
The peace of God is my one goal;
the aim of all my living here,
the end I seek,
my purpose and my function and my life,
while I abide where I am not at home. W- 205

Dylan read: Psalm 23 Dylan

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I  Want the Peace of God

W henever I think of this
A  smile covers my entire being
N o one can take this away from me
T hough there are times when I let it happen

T he truth is peace is all I desire
H e grants me this every minute of every day
E ven when I think this is not so

P eace is all around me
E ach time I stray and then I pray
A stillness appears and won’t go away
C almness surrounds me and all is well
E verything appears just as it should be

O ur lives can be so simple that is clear
F or when we devote our minds to peace

G od is always there
O h this is what I will do with my time
D evote each day to the peace of God

Kristen read this closing prayer:  Kristen

Forgive us our illusions, Father,
and help us to accept our true relationship with You,
in which there are no illusions, and where none can ever enter.
Our holiness is Yours.
What can there be in us that needs forgiveness when Yours is perfect?
The sleep of forgetfulness is only the unwillingness to remember Your forgiveness and Your Love.
Let us not wander into temptation, for the temptation of the Son of God is not Your Will.
And let us receive only what You have given,
and accept but this into the minds which You created and which You love.
Amen. T-16.VII.12.
